After a summer of intense renovations to the former “Wedding Chapel,” Konoba Hess opened doors to great reviews. Sporting a beautiful two-tiered patio, waterfall, gorgeous European public house setting and a cozy atmosphere, we’re sure you’ll love it right away.

Croatian food has been called a “cuisine of regions.” Cooking in different parts of the small country reflects its history as a crossroads in the Balkans.
Inland areas have dishes that show Turkish and Austro-Hungarian influences. People on the Adriatic coast eat meals inspired by Italy — Venice in particular — and Greece.
When Dishcrawl arrived in Hamilton and announced Locke Street as the first neighbourhood to shine in our spotlight, people commended our choice. “Of COURSE you’re going to feature restaurants on Locke Street.” we were told “There is culinary gold over there!” and they were not wrong. The exquisite Courtyard on Locke, the sublime NaRoma Pizza Bar, the phenomenal (and surprising) West Town Bar and Grill and the decadent experience that is Ceylon Tea Bush ALL exceeded the expectations of our Dishcrawl adventurers.
